Do Not Take Anything Personally

Mindfulness & Self-Compassion

Good morning beautiful people,

I hope that you are all safe and healthy, wherever you are in the world.

Today I would like to talk about the second agreement in the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz: Do not take anything personally.

Easier said than done yes, but what if we were able to shine our light onto others, even when they are not so pleasant to be around?

What if we were able to stay the course, and keep the faith, even when life turns out differently than we had planned for?

Lastly, what if somehow there was a golden nugget to be found in most situations?

On this note, I will invite you to feel your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds. Taking a deep inhale, and feeling a little more cantered. As you exhale, breathing out anything and everything you no longer need, the constant doubts, the thoughts, beliefs, the self criticism.

Nobody is perfect, yet, wouldn’t the world be so much more pleasant if we were taking things not personally? Somehow cultivating the well of clarity and grounding that comes with a healthy mind and body?

May we all take actions for our highest good
May we all be healthy
May we all be happy and together again soon

If you feel called to share this message with whoever might need this gentle reminder, pls don’t hesitate.

With love and deep respect

Vanessa
