Good morning beautiful people,
As we enter this new year and naturally begin to talk about new beginnings, I am inviting you to consider the fact that every moment we are present to, is actually a new beginning. The mind tells us that the present moment is not enough, but through the body and the heart, we know to trust that everything is as it should be, right now, otherwise it would be different.
Spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle says: “Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now.”
Easier said than done and in order to feel a little more present, I am going to invite you to take a deep inhale, feeling the air going through your nostrils and when you feel ready, breathing out anything and everything you no longer need. Now, taking your time, can you feel your feet touching the ground, your sits bones touching the chair your might be sitting on? Can you notice your mind slowing down and your connection to the present moment becoming sharper?
As we start this new year carrying fresh intentions, the practice of meditation enables us to cultivate within what we wish to bring forth into the world. The outcomes, most of the time beyond our control, but our actions, inevitably guided by how we feel within.
In case you would like to know more about this practice, there will be a group session in London on January 15th and one in Brussels on January 21st, please sign up as I cannot do this work alone and it is so much better when we are together:)
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to let me know if you have questions.
May your year be healthy, May you feel happy and May you be free.
With Love and Respect,
Vanessa
