Good morning beautiful people,
I hope that you are safe and healthy, wherever you are in the world.
I would like to begin by acknowledging the terrible pain most of us feel for the people stuck in Afghanistan and who want out. It seems unreal to witness such a regime in 2021 without having any intergovernmental organisation fight and get people out. Yes, I may be too romantic, but everyone deserves a better ending than this one.
Talking about ending, the title of this newsletter talks about letting go and is called Let it Go. Not after the Disney Frozen theme song, but after wanting something so badly, fighting for it, and at some point feeling the need to Let Go.
How can we genuinely mourn something we want so much, not get it and feel ready to turn a page? It’s a hard one, but at some point, there might be a little voice within that says: Let it Go. It’s enough now.
In a Disney film, this will usually be where the miracle takes place. In real life, that’s when we begin to see differently, changing our perspective and accept the unchosen outcome, with some degree of peace.
So on this note, I would like you to take a deep inhale, feeling the air moving through your nostrils. When you feel ready, slowly breathing out anything and everything you no longer need. Please take a moment and ask yourself if it’s time to let go of something. Something you wanted so bad and didn’t work out as planned, though you fought so hard.
I don’t know if letting go is always the answer, and nobody knows, except your own divine self.
May we all listen and May we all be blessed
Meditations will resume on Tuesday at 830am London time or 930 Brussels time.
30 min long, daily. If ooh struggle to listen, meditation is the medication.
