When Things Fall Apart
Good Morning Beautiful People, I hope that as you read this email, you are feeling safe and healthy, wherever you may be in the world. In meditation, we often hear about the interconnectedness of all things, and though that principle can be a difficult one to grasp, the pandemic we are experiencing does indeed prove us that everything is connected.
Our Breath
Good Morning Beautiful People, I hope that you are able to find some peace and sleep during these challenging times. Today, more than any other Friday, I am here to remind you about your breath: your main ally during strenuous times. Not only does it enable us to connect to what is, but when we breath consciously, feeling the air moving through our nostrils, down our lungs to our bellies, it sends a signal to our parasympathetic nervous system that we are safe, and just like that, we get out of fight, flight or freeze mode and can instead access clarity, rest and digest.
